The QNDplus Q100 gen3 Drop Down Airstock for EMF100 is a NON DESTRUCTIVE solution for our EMF100
Based on the QNDplus technology, the QNDplus Q100 was adapted to the contour and mounting method of the ID100 tuning body. In addition, a QD assembly was added to the top of the ASA so that all common sling swivels can be used. To guarantee longevity, the QD insert was made of stainless steel, which is also rust-proof.
Why only a central QD mounting?!? When mounted centrally, the weight of the marker is transferred in the line of the sling and so the marker hangs straight down. Even if the marker is heavier due to the bottle at the back, the likelihood of the marker over-twisting is reduced.
ATTENTION the QNDplus Q100 cannot be used with the standard body of the EMF100.
What does the “plus” mean in QNDplus?!
Qarms has managed to bring the already well-known QND Drop Down ASA Airstock onto the market with that certain PLUS.
With the QNDplus you now have the world's only drop down ASA where you no longer have to do without the unique ventilation of the EMF100, i.e. the ASA ON / OFF function.
By flipping a small lever, the EMF100 is depressurized and is therefore no longer capable of firing or the HPA bottle can be unscrewed from the marker very easily and without resistance.
Here, in the spirit of Planet Eclipse, we have of course made sure that, like the original, the function is available for left-handed and right-handed people.
What does NON DESTRUCTIVE mean?!
Nothing needs to be changed, manipulated or even sawed on the frame of the EMF100. This means you have no reduction in the value of your marker.
The conversion takes about 6 minutes and only requires three of the Allen keys, which are supplied as standard with the EMF100, and a small pair of needle-nose pliers and ideally a small combination pliers
you can remove the POPS pin and the POPS pin insert from the original air block. Just watch the video linked below.
Almost plug and play and it can really be done by anyone, even if you claim to have two left hands.
An important point is the maintenance of the EMF100. All you have to do is loosen the two screws that fix the dropdown ASA and it can be removed.
Now the bolt itself can be removed as usual.
What is GENERATION 3 (gen3)!?
Small changes have been made. The first change is the ease of use, the small switches on the left and right have been lengthened slightly, which means that gen1 and gen2 can now be clearly distinguished visually. The second change is that the gap between the handle and the air block is closed with a new component. The gen3 can also be easily recognized from this. On top there is now a locking clip for the handle.
All Qarms QND+ delivered from November 2023 are gen2. all QND+ delivered from May 2024 are gen3.
