Simulation paintballs, also called "powder balls", are a very special type of paintball. Unlike conventional balls, they have neither a gelatine coating nor a liquid color filling.
The ball was developed with several goals:
1. The effect on impact: The powder creates a small cloud of powder.
2. Neither the shell nor the filling is wet: A hit can be removed from the clothing by simply tapping it off. The leftovers after the game can also be removed by sweeping or vacuuming in a similar way to house dust.
3. Due to the newly manufactured shell, there is no longer a need to produce a round ball. Round is not an aerodynamic shape. The Simulation Ball is now modeled after a golf ball, which stabilizes the trajectory and causes a longer range.
4. Without gelatine and without a liquid filling, it was possible to produce a ball that neither cold nor moisture could harm.
5. Despite everything, the ball remains biodegradable, baby powder and wax are natural substances and protect the environment.
