The Flap magazine is an extension for the Vulcan II and Vulcan III plate carriers and is attached to the front. Three magazine pouches are securely sewn and the magazine flap is delivered with three rubber safety cords. G36, G3, M4 and AK47-1XX magazines fit into this extension.

Additional Molle loops are attached to the magazine pouch, which are used to attach the safety set and can hold other items of equipment. An additional horizontal channel with 4 MOLLE loops is located at the lower end of the magazine pouches. Here, for example, knives, tourniquets or pistol magazine pouches can be attached.

It is attached to the plate carrier using 4 straps that are located on the top of the back. The webbing is simply pulled through the MOLLE loops of the wearer, and then looped through the webbing of the flap. The straps are attached to the Velcro surface. The Velcro surface at the bottom of the flap is hooked into the plate pocket and ensures a firm hold. The Modular Flap is an innovative fastening system with additional functions. For example, additional material such as a flat IFAK or cards can be carried between the plate carrier and the modular flap.
The Modular Flap is for the plate carrier Vulcan II and Vulcan III, and also fits on the plate carrier supplied by LHT.

The materials used correspond to the technical delivery conditions of the Bundeswehr or the MIL-SPEC of various other armies. Fabric, webbing, plastic parts and all haberdashery meet military standards with regard to infrared values as well as composition and quality.

Vulcan III is the latest generation of the ZENTAURON plate carrier. We have completely redesigned the classic Vulcan, taking it to a new level. The Vulcan III is fully equipped with ZenTubes (ROC buckles) on the shoulder straps and the cummerbund, making it extremely quick to put on and take off. The ZenTubes also function as a quick release system for emergencies. The quick release system is not only advantageous for the wearer himself, it also offers the medic easy access to the patient in emergency situations.The plate pockets for hard and soft ballistics are separated from each other. The ballistics supplied by the company fit into the plate racks.The compartment for soft ballistics is padded with 3D MESH on the side facing the body. The wearing comfort can also be extended with additional pads (Hivent).With MOLLE loops on the front and back as well as on the cummerbund, the Vulcan III is fully flexible: various magazine pouches and multi-purpose pouches can be attached as required. The front plate pocketOn the outside of the Vulcan III plate pocket there are 4 x 3 MOLLE loops, which are provided with Velcro. The inside side is padded with 3D mesh fabric and contributes to a good wearing comfort and good ventilation. The inserts of the plate pockets are opened and closed using Velcro. Inside is the compartment for soft ballistics or non-ballistics, this is simply pushed in and the compartment closed with Velcro. On the outside is the compartment for the hard ballistics, in which the SK4 plate is housed. A 50 mm strap is sewn on to fix the SK4 plate, which reliably secures the plate. The abdomen protection and the front pocket can also be mounted on the Velcro of the SK4 plate pocket. The rear plate pocketOn the outside there are again 4x3 MOLLE loops, which are covered with Velcro, and there are vertical straps on the outside. The cummerbund is attached to horizontally running MOLLE belts and fixed with rubber cords. The size is set using the strap loops on the cummerbund and the straps of the record pocket. So there is an adjustment range of 2x12cm available for size adjustment. Of course, other items of equipment can also be attached to the horizontal MOLLE loops. The holder for hard and soft ballistics is identical to the front plate pocket.
