The Flap magazine is an extension for the Vulcan II and Vulcan III plate carriers and is attached to the front. Three magazine pouches are securely sewn and the magazine flap is delivered with three rubber safety cords. G36, G3, M4 and AK47-1XX magazines fit into this extension.
Additional Molle loops are attached to the magazine pouch, which are used to attach the safety set and can hold other items of equipment. An additional horizontal channel with 4 MOLLE loops is located at the lower end of the magazine pouches. Here, for example, knives, tourniquets or pistol magazine pouches can be attached.
It is attached to the plate carrier using 4 straps that are located on the top of the back. The webbing is simply pulled through the MOLLE loops of the wearer, and then looped through the webbing of the flap. The straps are attached to the Velcro surface. The Velcro surface at the bottom of the flap is hooked into the plate pocket and ensures a firm hold. The Modular Flap is an innovative fastening system with additional functions. For example, additional material such as a flat IFAK or cards can be carried between the plate carrier and the modular flap.
The Modular Flap is for the plate carrier Vulcan II and Vulcan III, and also fits on the plate carrier supplied by LHT.
The materials used correspond to the technical delivery conditions of the Bundeswehr or the MIL-SPEC of various other armies. Fabric, webbing, plastic parts and all haberdashery meet military standards with regard to infrared values as well as composition and quality.
