Product information "Handguard QHG TRIA M 8,8" - Q Arms"
With its first handguard series QHG MONOS and QHG TRI, Q Arms is once again taking a new path and trying to bring something onto the market with a new approach.
SIMPLE, SIMPLE and FUNCTION are the best keywords for this.
Everything that is not needed has been left out of the handguard. Some might call it radical but the entire Picatinny/Weaver Rail on the top was removed because hardly anyone has to mount anything in this area. Result: no sharp edges where you or something gets caught.
With the QHG MONOS series, the main focus is on keeping the handguard as closed as possible, i.e. the side mounting options have been omitted.
There are M-Lok slots on the underside that make it possible to mount a Fore Grips or a flashlight.
For those who want to mount a handle, flashlight, laser, action camera, bipod, etc., the QHG TRI series is recommended because the required M-Lok slots have been inserted on the side.
An important point for most people is to have a good selection of lengths so that you can put together your setup optimally.
Five lengths from XS to XL are available in each series.

Compatible with silencers!! With an inner diameter of 41mm, care was taken to ensure that if you want to partially accommodate a silencer in the handguard, this is also possible.
A separate barrel nut was developed for mounting on the marker or rifle, which does not require intermediate rings or a protruding crimping system to fix the handguard in the perfect place. Once adjusted correctly, the handguard will always fit precisely without having to readjust.
